Recent Work

Naturally, a lot of my best work is done with the awesome team at ICG. I have received 10 Addy Awards for my ICG projects so I like to call myself an award-winning designer in my head on rough days. Let's keep that between us.  I've done websites for some awesome brands like Orange Leaf Yogurt, 111 Project, On A Whim, as well as an app, logos, campaign strategy and good ol' point of purchase displays.

This logo seemed like a no-brainer to me. You can't go wrong with a solid put-a-man's-head-in-the-negative-space idea. I chose green and gray because the colors needed to be techy but approachable - and my husband needed to like them.


You see, my husband is one of the partners, so I've also helped them develop the two main message of their brand. Their vision isto help small to medium sized businesses who need help with IT needs - "Don't let technology hold your business back" and their mission (now tagline) which is to become "OKC's IT Solution." I helped them set up a template website for OKCNerds.com using LightCMS (we will pimp it out later).




Sweets and Spurs is a high-end cowboy boot store coming soon to Norman, OK, that will also sell cupcakes and hand-dipped chocolates. This logo was a real challenge because I was working from sketches given to me by the client, from a relative of hers. Usually I get to do the sketching!

The website was one of my favorite parts of the branding project:

It was also challenging because whimsical & antiquey (technical term) - are not where my design brain gets to spend much time. Below are the rejects ( I loved the SpurCake of the third one!)




This logo is for my brother n law's sub shop in Nashville, TN. My sister actually chose the form of the logo, sending me inspiration based off of the London Underground logo.

What is cool about this sub shop is that everyone who works there has culinary experience and is working towards a culinary career - so no zit faced teenager grunting at you like at Subway.

With this factor, and my bro's serious culinary skills and background (he grew up in New York & Miami), I came up with their slogan, A Sandwich Experience.

Though I loved some of the rejects, below, I think the final product really captured the casual and unique experience that customers get when they go to his shop. If you are ever in Nashville, be sure and stop by!



This is a logo that was done for the Oklahoma Department of Tourism for an initiative to get women go on trips throughout the state. See it in action!



This is a logo for a marina on Beaver Lake, I also did the website and a sister logo for the Inn at Lost Bridge Marina.


This is a logo for a ministry - Church Planning and Revitalization Institue, hence the visual representation of growth in the logo.

This is a logo for a childcare center in Edmond. They are very innovative so they wanted the logo to be clean and sleek rather than juvenile.
